Privacy Policy

IE Compat Bridge provides Chrome JavaScript and DOM compatibility fixes for legacy business web apps configured by the user.

Local extension data

The extension stores configured hostnames, compatibility settings, a random local install ID, trial or purchaser email, server-returned trial, manual license, and Paddle subscription status, an optional legacy license key when entered, and local diagnostic signals in Chrome extension storage.

Trial, subscription, and license verification

When a user starts a trial, refreshes Paddle subscription status, or verifies a legacy manual license, the extension sends only accountEmail, licenseKey if provided, extensionVersion, and installId to the license service. Paddle subscriptions are recognized by purchase email; no license key is required for Paddle purchases. The request does not include current page URL, webpage body text, screenshots, cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, form values, browser history, or browser profile data.

Website email registration

The public website may collect an email address, selected billing period, source page, referrer, campaign parameters, approximate country, and timestamp to open Paddle checkout, support trial follow-up, and handle support.

Diagnostics

Diagnostics are generated locally to help users understand whether a configured page includes legacy compatibility signals. Diagnostics are not uploaded by the extension and are copied only when the user clicks the copy diagnostics action.

Payments and support

The Chrome extension does not collect or process payment card details. Payments are processed outside the extension by Paddle. Google is not the seller and does not process payment. For support, contact kssicstudio@gmail.com.
